Events
Events have been held under the umbrella of RoughDraftAudio since 2012, all musically based. Mainly gigs, with some cinematic elements, taking place primarily at The Lantern Theatre and Crookes Social Club in Sheffield.
2026 will see the start of Acoustic Encounters, third Wednesday of each month at Crookes Social Club, currently from March to July |

| Fri 4th Sept | The Lantern Theatre, Sheffield | Nick Battle Nick Battle is an unbelievable man of music, his accomplishments are almost too vast to write about. With decades in the music industry under his belt, he's written songs with Gary Barlow and collaborated with legends like Cliff Richard and Michael Ball. His legacy is one of quiet influence and enduring talent. It promises to be a night of great songs and stories from his fifty years in the music business. He will be joined by some very special guests. |

| Thu 24th Sept | The Lantern Theatre, Sheffield | The Blackheart Orchestra The Blackheart Orchestra are returning to The Lantern Theatre, bringing their ethereal, folky/electronic/progressive music back to Sheffield. Their sell out performances in recent years have been phenomenal, they filled our auditorium with such wonderful sounds as Rick and Chrissy criss-crossed each other to create their music. A mesmerising show, an aural delight. This year they bring new music along with their extensive catalogue. The support act for this evening will be confirmed at a later date. |

| Thu 1st Oct | The Lantern Theatre, Sheffield | Robin Grey Better known for his production Three Acres And A Cow (which sold out Sheffield's Crucible Theatre), Robin will be returning to his solo music, presenting a set of his older, better known material alongside a collection of new songs. |

| Mon 1st Nov | Knutsford Little Theatre | Angel Snow Over the last decade or more, American country/ folk/ pop/ blues/ Americana (..the list goes on somewhat..!) artist Angel Snow has been bringing her music to these shores, building up a deserved reputation for delivering stand out emotive performances. While no stranger to the more northerly quarters of England, having playing Manchester, Sheffield, and down the road in Stoke, this will be her first time playing at Knutsford Little Theatre. This year she will be bringing new music along with songs from her existing repertoire. The evening will be opened with a set from local artist Helen Walford |

| Thu 28th Jan | Crookes Social Club, Sheffield | Pete Roth Trio (featuring Bill Bruford) Following their sold out performances across the UK, Europe, and Japan over the last few years (including Sheffield's The Lantern Theatre in 2025), The Pete Roth Trio return to Sheffield, this time to the legendary Crookes Social Club Since they burst onto the jazz scene a mere few years ago, Pete Roth, Bill Bruford, and Mike Pratt's "interactive music" has been warmly and enthusiastically welcomed far and wide, including 2026's Cruise To The Edge and a tour of Japan. We are delighted to announce them coming to such a historic live venue as part of their 2027 Northern Tour. |

| Sat 27th Feb | The Lantern Theatre, Sheffield | Andy Davison and The Soul Preachin' Co play the music of Bob Dylan Following sell out performances, Andy Davison and The Soul Preachin' Co, along with some special guests to perform the music of Bob Dylan on the stage of The Lantern Theatre. Broadly following the arc of the recent Timothy Chalomet film, A Complete Unknown, these seasoned lovers of Dylan's oeuvre will play two sets, acoustic and electric. |
